Ad Book Fundraiser

Greater Emmanuel is sponsoring an Ad Book Fundraiser. All members are encouraged to participate. We are seeking a volunteer to lead this effort. Pastor will provide additional information during his reiteration.

Come One Come All

Invite a Friend: Challenge yourself to invite someone to come to church with you next week. Testimonials and service starts at 9:45. The spirit and word of God dwells here.

Fund Raising Goals and Ideas - Continual

The church is raising money; our goal is $10,000. Whatever you give will certainly help towards that goal. Come with your fundraising ideas.  

The calendar meeting will be rescheduled. The time and date of those events already on the church calendar, will be published on the church bulletin board, church website, and Facebook. 

Youth Sponsoring Saturdays,  - Starting: Second week in July (Meets twice a month)

Details: Greater Emmanuel is proud to sponsor a brand-new youth program! We are dedicated to pouring into our young people through a wonderful curriculum focusing on:

Cultures & an introduction to business

• • 1. • 1. • Bible study foundations & Black history knowledge

            • Sharpening computer, reading, and math skills

            • Building lifelong friendships and positive relationships

Note: Lunch will be served at each meeting.

Volunteers Needed: We are still looking for passionate individuals to help make this program a success. Please step up to serve our youth!

Worship At Pettigrew - Fall Tent Revival: “The Church Has Left the Building”

• When: Coming this Fall

• Location: On the church property at 1710 East Pettigrew Street, Durham NC, 27707

• Details: Join us as we take our worship service outdoors under a tent to glorify God together. This is going to be a deeply moving and spiritual event for our entire community. Stay tuned for more details and exact dates!

Come and Grow Bible Study - The Return of Wednesday Night Bible Study

• Resumes: Wednesday, July 29, 2026  at Greater Emmanuel Full Gospel Baptist Church.

• Time: 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. (Exactly one hour)

• A New Perspective: Pastor Johnson has developed a brand-new interactive Bible study concept, featuring a fresh teaching model and syllabus designed to make engaging with the Word more interesting and more impact full than ever.

• How to Join: Attend in whatever way fits your schedule best!

Community Free Hot Dog Giveaway - SEPTEMBER

• Date: September 26, 2026

• Time: Starting at 10:00 a.m.

• Location: 1710 East Pettigrew Street, Durham, North Carolina

  • • Menu: Free hot dogs, potato chips, a slice of cake, and bottled water.
