Happy Mother's Day !!

Deacon Ordination Service

On Sunday, May 17, 2026, Pastor Johnson will be preaching the Deacon Ordination Service at Greater Zion Church located at 107 W Church St., Walstonburg, NC 27888. The service starts at 3:00 pm. Please come and support Pastor Johnson if you are able as he breaks the bread of life with Greater Zion Church.

St. John's Day Celebration at GEFGBC

On Sunday, June 14, 2026, during regular worship service, Greater Emmanuel will host the 20th Masonic District of the Prince Hall Masonic Grand Lodge as they celebrate St. John’s Day. Everyone is invited to attend.

Come One Call All

The church is inviting people to come out and worship with us at 1715 Athens Ave. So invite someone to come to church testimonials and service starts at 9:45. The spirit and word of God dwells here.

Fund Raising Goals and Ideas - Continual

The church is raising money; our goal is $10,000. Whatever you give will certainly help towards that goal. Come with your fundraising ideas.  

The calendar meeting will be rescheduled. The time and date of those events already on the church calendar, will be published on the church bulletin board, church website, and Facebook. 

Youth Sponsoring Saturdays, 

Greater Emmanuel is sponsoring youth on Saturday, twice a month. Greater Emmanuel is sponsoring youth on Saturday, twice a month. The emphasis is on a curriculum of building bible study knowledge, gaining black history knowledge, sharpening computer skills, reading and math skills, and building friendships and relationships. Volunteers are still needed. Lunch will be served. Lunch will be served. We need volunteers.

Worship At Pettigrew

Pastor is planning to have a Outdoor Worship Service on our property @ 1710 East Pettigrew Street. The service will be under a tent as we gather to glorify God. More information will be shared soon. This will be a powerful and uplifting service.

Come and Grow Bible Study

• Wednesday Evening: Bible study is in session at Greater Emmanuel Full Gospel Baptist Church. Please join the church dial-in number. Bible study starts at 7:00 p.m. The first Bible series will be titled: "Digesting the Word of God." It’s going to be a great series.

• Tuesday Morning: Tuesday morning Bible study, at 10:30 a.m. on the church dial-in number.
